RESPONSIBILITIES: At STOA you will actively guide the planning, investigation, design, and documentation of complex projects of varying types/scales; lead construction documentation production and design documentation through construction administration; coordinate design efforts and deliverables of design consultants and project team; and may provide technical guidance/mentorship to less experienced architects. Responsibilities include:
· Carrying-out directions and assignments with limited oversight.
· Developing planning and creative-design concepts for Projects
· Meeting task and project deadlines.
· Informing Project Manager and team of potential project conflicts and/or emerging issues.
· Making field visits and provide support during construction administration phase
· Helping to grow and establish firm standards and mentor Entry Level Architectural Designers
REQUIREMENTS:
- Professional accredited degree in architecture
- At least five years of related experience in the field
- Licensed or on track to be licensed
- Experience with the entire project life cycle and design process
- Efficient in utilizing REVIT/BIM production
- Strong communication skills, professional work ethic, and ability to work effectively with team members
- Physical requirements may include: sitting, standing, lifting 10-20 lbs., visualizing, effectively communicating verbally and in writing, operating computer equipment, some travel (by car or plane).
- Certain contracts may require U.S. Citizenship
SALARY: Dependent on experience. STOA provides competitive salaries that generally follow the AIA Salary Calculator.

· Strong command of software, including Revit BIM software as a tool for design drawings, MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, with knowledge of Sketchup and Lumion desired or a plus.
· Manage Project digital files and information
· Ability to receive critiques and advance Projects in a constructive manner.
· Serve as a team player and collaborator in a dynamic work atmosphere, ensuring positive flow of communication.
