JOB SUMMARY
Facilitates cutting, gluing, storing and cleaning plastics billets.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Run lathe to cut billets
- Glue billets to particle of wood.
- Remove billets from oven.
- Maintain and organize oven room during and at end of shift.
- Never leave billets on floors. Put them on conveyor with exception of big lathe material requirements.
- Take out trash from Plastics, Rubber, outside area and any other required areas.
- Maintain good housekeeping in work area during and at end of shift.
SUPERVISION
- Works under close supervision.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must have clear understanding of basic math and have the ability to read, write and comprehend English (work orders, safety and operations instructions)
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND DEMANDS
- Exposure to manufacturing environment preferred.
- Spends 100% of time in the shop. Standing 90% of time.
- May be exposed to possible shop hazards including heaving machinery, fumes, dust, heat and high pressure and temperatures.
