About the JFK IAT Account Manager Position:
We are looking for a dynamic, organized, and experienced Account Manager to assist in the expansion of our team! The JFK IAT Account Manager is responsible for providing overall management of the JFK IAT contract, in close collaboration with SSPTMS and JFK IAT management and ensuring the work site is operated in a manner consistent with contractual requirements, work site protocols, and applicable legal and safety standards. The JFK IAT Account Manager must be personable, able to maintain positive working relationships with superiors and subordinates from diverse backgrounds and with varying leadership styles.
JFK IAT Account Manager Job Description:
The JFK IAT Account Manager will perform the following tasks:
- Provide overall management of the JFK IAT contract.
- Endeavor to meet Key Performance Indicator (KPI) requirements as defined by JFK IAT.
- Attend daily, weekly, and monthly contract management and performance meetings.
- Review daily operational audits completed by JFK IAT and take an active role in making the necessary and timely corrective actions.
- Provide guidance and direction to all supervisory and subordinate staff working on the JFK IAT contract.
- Support and work in close coordination with JFK IAT to resolve problems in real time and ensure their needs are heard and met; report related actions, decisions, and feedback to SSPTMS.
- Develop and execute emergency response action plans; respond to all unusual incidents and occurrences and ensure they are adjudicated correctly with proper notification.
- Follow up on complaints and concerns at JFK IAT, prepare investigatory reports, and recommend corrective action if necessary.
- Retrieve video surveillance footage from JFK IAT when necessary.
- Ensure coverage for all posts and the delivery of daily roll call sheets to SSPTMS and JFK IAT, including details on attendance and deficiencies (anticipated and accrued).
- In partnership with HR, ensure that all supervisory and subordinate staff working on the JFK IAT contract are properly trained and maintain updated initial and recurrent training records.
- In partnership with Field Operations, develop a communication contingency plan to ensure the continuity of uninterrupted (24/7) communication with JFK IAT.
- Maintain confidentiality when necessary.
JFK IAT Account Manager Job Requirements:
- 10 to 20+ years of airport security, police, law enforcement, traffic enforcement, traffic management, and/or military supervisory experience.
- Valid NYS Security Guard License (armed or unarmed).
- Able to obtain a JFK IAT Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge.
- Ability to obtain
- Valid 4-hr Flagger certification.
- Valid NYS Driver License.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in-person, phone, text message, and email).
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Great ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively and identify critical issues quickly and accurately.
- Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills.
- Strong ability to multitask and work collaboratively in an often stressful and fast-paced environment.
- Competent to handle sensitive and/or confidential information.
JFK IAT Account Manager Schedule:
The JFK IAT Account Manager will typically work standard business hours, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, forty (40) hours per week. However, at SSPTMS, we pride ourselves on the innovative and unconventional work that we do and, accordingly, our business needs are not always conventional. Work may need to be performed with limited notice, requiring “all hands on deck.” The JFK IAT Account Manager will work with JFK IAT and SSPTMS as needed to get the job done.
JFK IAT Account Manager FLSA Status and Salary:
The JFK IAT Account Manager is a full-time, exempt position. SSPTMS is committed to equitable pay. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range for this position of $90,000 to $100,000 annually.
Benefits:
The JFK IAT Account Manager will receive paid time off, including but not limited to holidays, sick and safe leave (up to a maximum of 56 hours per calendar year), vacation time (3 weeks/15 days), and personal time (2 days). Vacation and personal time will be prorated for the remainder of 2024.
There is a total of eight (8) paid holidays, including New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
The JFK IAT Account Manager will be automatically enrolled in a major medical plan at no cost to them, beginning on the 1st of the month after one month of employment. Additionally, the JFK IAT Account Manager will be eligible to enroll in our following shared cost* benefit programs, also on the 1st of the month after one month of employment:

Enrollment in our 401(k)-benefit program is available to employees at least twenty-one (21) years of age who work for at least six (6) months and for at least 1,000 hours.
