Seeking full time Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team. Premier Veterinary Care is a brand new, beautiful, state of the art located in Veterinary Clinic in Viera, FL. We are looking to add a motivated team member with Veterinary Technician experience who is looking to grow with our progressive practice. Premier Veterinary Care’s mission is to provide comprehensive, compassionate and the highest level of care to the furriest family members. With the highest level of patient care, we provide services such as wellness examinations, immunizations, surgery, radiology, an in-house laboratory and emergency services. Additionally, experience with Pulse/E-Vet or similar software is highly sought.

We’re looking for:
- Certified Veterinarian Technician with wellness, surgical, and emergency veterinary
- experience
- An outgoing positive personality, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, knowledge of animal vaccine and preventative protocol, desire to work and serve our community.
- Highly organized and possess computer skills.
- Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skillset.
- Assist the veterinarian in exam rooms and use veterinary software for documenting
- Perform venipuncture for phlebotomy and catheter placement.
- Obtain laboratory sample collection, process and possibly interpret results (fecal/parasite analysis, ear cytology, skin cytology, urinalysis, blood smears)
- Perform diagnostic imaging.
- Prep patients for anesthesia, monitor, and assist in surgery.
- Perform dental prophies.
- Administer vaccines and medications (oral, topical, injectable)
- Fill prescriptions and review directions with clients
- Communicate with and educate clients.
- Maintain proper documentation
