Western Precision products is currently looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector.
This is a full time position with competitive pay and a complete benefit package.
This position will be on day shift 7am-3:30pm for 2-3 months for training. Position will be M-F 3:00pm - 11:30pm after training is complete.
Candidate should be familiar with AS9100 and ISO standards.
Essential functions
- Works under limited supervision
- Selects and uses calibrated tools and equipment
- Adheres to quality assurance procedures
- Performs First Article Inspections
- Documents and controls inspection records in the QA function
- Communicates inspection results with manufacturing and QC
- Control of Nonconforming Product per procedure( writes NCRs )
- Follows FOD control and good housekeeping practices
Competencies
- Can follow direction and work both individually and as a team member
- Can use measuring tools and equipment NVR, CMM
- Can read and interpret design drawings
- Understands GD&T principles
- Can read and interpret necessary standards and procedures
Work Environment
Primarily works in a temperature controlled lab environment but is exposed to all environmental conditions within the manufacturing facility.
Physical Demands
Position requires sitting at a desk for extended periods of time performing computer related processes, communication through phone and email, physical interaction between departments and with personnel.
Pre-employment drug screening is required for all eligible candidates.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
