Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Staff Engineer on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovation.
Duties:
- Engineering Support: Provide technical support to engineering teams on various projects, including design, analysis, and testing activities. Assist in the development and implementation of engineering solutions to meet project objectives and client requirements.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, organize, and analyze engineering data using appropriate tools and techniques. Prepare technical reports, charts, and graphs to summarize findings and communicate results to project teams and stakeholders.
- CAD Drafting: Assist in creating and revising engineering drawings and schematics using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Ensure accuracy and adherence to design standards and specifications.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project deadlines and deliverables are met. Assist in coordinating project activities, tracking progress, and identifying potential risks or issues.
- Quality Assurance: Support quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes to ensure engineering designs and deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. Assist in reviewing design documents and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including design calculations, technical specifications, and correspondence. Prepare progress reports, meeting minutes, and project documentation as required.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times, both in the office and during fieldwork activities. Promote a culture of safety awareness and risk mitigation among project team members.
- Professional Development: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the field of engineering. Pursue opportunities for professional development and continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Other Duties as Assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, etc.) or related field.
- Strong academic background with coursework in engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and engineering analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to engineering projects and initiatives.
- Prior internship or co-op experience in engineering is a plus.
