Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Assistant to join our team. As an Assistant, you will provide support to the organization by assisting with various administrative tasks and projects. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the non-profit sector and contribute to a meaningful cause.
Duties:
-Assist with outreach to, and recruitment of, eligible students. Assist with presentations to local
- High Schools, One Stops, and other community organizations. Assist with orientation sessions and presentations
- Conduct tours of campus for prospective students and parents/guardians. Assistwith contacting and documenting initial communication with Online Prospects. Conduct prearrival calls and support new student welcome activities. Support new student retention throughpre-90-day focus groups and assisting with outreach to students in an unauthorized absence status.
- Support relationship management activities by maintaining contact lists, scheduling meetings, and coordinating communications
- Assist with public relations initiatives, updating social media platforms, and coordinating events
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience for all
- Assist with strategic planning activities by conducting research, analyzing data, and preparing reports
- Maintain organized files and documentation for easy retrieval
- Collaborate with team members on various projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with market research and data analysis preferred
- Excellent research skills to gather relevant information for projects
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
