-Requirements
-Endurance: Expected to work 40+ hour weeks (especially during holiday and busier seasons where there is 1-4 hours of overtime daily)
-Capable of heavy lifting and standing for long periods of time
-Must be available to work early hours. Start time 4am-5am
-Must come ready to wok in a very fast paced environment
-Must have full availability Tuesday - Sundays (Sun/Mon or Mon/Tues are typical days off)
-Extremely reliable to show up on time every day and committed to making this a long term career
-Have artistic ability, creative and detail oriented, cooperative, personable, and able to work as a team
-Must have a professional baking / decorating background experience
-Position Expectations
-You will be expected on a daily basis to work with a team of 5 - 9 coworkers as well as work on projects by yourself
-Must have knowledge and ability to make French macarons from scratch
-Filling and icing cupcakes to our level of standards for the store cases and orders
-Will solely be responsible for prepping /Icing and Decorating Wedding Cakes / Decorating Birthday Cakes / decorating the following: Sugar cookies, cupcakes, cake pops, brownies, cream puffs, eclairs, assorted mini pastries, cookies, slices, pies, store cakes, etc. (all for the store and orders)
-Must have (but not limited to) cake icing, decorating and fondant skills
-Must be able to follow recipes, read orders carefully, and to use tools and equipment safely and efficiently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.55 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
