General Job Description – Line Cook
These are basic job functions for the position of line cook. The duties and responsibilities of this position are not limited to the contents listed. It is impossible to list every duty, responsibility, policy etc. This is intended to be a guide for the position.
Essentially, the position consists of all duties that would affect customer satisfaction.
1. Completes all established set-up duties on time
2. Must be detail-oriented
3. Comply to the Team Member Handbook policies and procedures
4. Be able to work in a fast pace environment and multi-task at the same time
5. Be able to read and speak English
6. To be able to remain calm during high pressured moments
7. Adhere to all Food & Beverage policies and Health Department Codes
8. Communicate with Management, food runner and food servers
9. Know how to cook each Paymon’s menu item in a timely manner
10. Must be able to understand all customer requests on checks
11. Perform side work during your shift
12. Perform side work at the end of your shift
13. Communicate all issues, problems to management ASAP
14. Make sure that the kitchen has the proper appearance
15. Assist others when needed.
16. Adhere to all policies whether verbal or written
17. Must carry on your person, all applicable work cards. Relay all compliments & complaints to management.
18. Other duties as assigned by management.
19. Must be able to identify and operate the appliances and tools in the kitchen
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
