Activation Coordinators at Code3 support our Media Activation teams and are responsible for the hands-on keyboard execution of platform work within specific digital channels. All Activation team members are specialized by platform group (see below), allowing our talent to develop deep expertise and contribute to thought leadership for the company and industry-at-large. This work is the driving force behind the performance gains we deliver to our clients and imperative to the growth of Code3.
- Commerce Search (e.g. the sponsored posts you see when browsing for products on Amazon)
- Search Engine Marketing (e.g. the listings you see at the top of the page when searching on Google)
- Paid Social (e.g. the sponsored posts you see when swiping through your Instagram Stories or TIkTok FYP)
- Programmatic (e.g. the banner or video ads you see when reading an article on your favorite website)
- SEO (e.g. how we ensure that a Brand is visible and top of page on Amazon or Google's non-sponsored listings)
All Activation Coordinators will complete Code3's "Ignite" Program. This launchpad for a career in digital marketing offers best-in-class training on the basics of digital marketing, media analytics, platform strategy, and client account management.
The Ignite Program consists of 3 modules:
- General Digital Marketing Knowledge: you'll become an expert in data analysis, understanding what metrics matter to clients, how all of the platforms are similar/different, and the nuts and bolts that go into running media campaigns.
- Platform Proficiency: you'll focus on your specific Platform, developing proficiency in the relevant strategy, targeting, messaging, and budgeting nuances at play.
- Account Management 101: you'll learn how to run successful client relationships, how to communicate your strategies effectively, and how to navigate client FAQs.
As an Activation Coordinator, you'll:
- Perform market research to inform future targeting & messaging strategies
- Build, launch, and optimize campaigns with a focus on flawless execution and exceeding KPI expectations
- Analyze marketing data & provide impactful insights for clients
- Generate reports for both internal teams and the client to indicate performance and trends across campaigns
- Perform campaign QA on your own campaigns, plus those built by others on the team
- Support on client-facing presentations, including data visualization and takeaways
- Support on project management and deliverables tracking

You should have:
- Proficiency with data hygiene, analysis, and visualization in Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel
- Experience with creating and presenting presentations in Google Slides and/or Microsoft PowerPoint
- A self-motivated drive to learn & openness to feedback
- Agility to focus on multiple priorities at any given time while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
- Organizational prowess to track a high volume of deliverables across multiple clients
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking ability
- Previous experience with in-platform digital marketing work is a plus (but not a must)

Note: While we are a remote-first company, Ignite program participants are required to be in-person at our Cleveland office for the first week of the program: July 15-19, 2024. Attendance is mandatory and travel accommodations for anyone not local to the Cleveland area will be covered by Code3. After this initial week, participants will be able to work remotely.

Salary Information: This is a full-time position with a salary range of $55,00 - $60,000. There is no additional bonus and this compensation package is non-negotiable. Depending on guidelines by location, this role may be exempt or non-exempt.
