Job Summary:
OMAC is a globally well known automotive products distributor brand has its warehouse and logistics operations in Europe: Germany, France and Texas USA. For our growing USA business we have an open position for a full time warehouse operations lead will be responsible for all branch operations in 55.000 ft square OMAC USA warehouse.
Great opportunity to get a key role and grow in an international and globally expanding e-commerce logistics operations branch in Houston (77040 area).
Simply responsibilies:
Both warehouse operations, office administration and customer service operations explained below via working, helping, inspecting the managers and their teams under him/her. This manager works with warehouse manager, customer service team lead and administr ative managers and their teams
(3 managers directly plus 20 to 30 total employees in branch)
In OMAC USA warehouse the main duties are:
Picking, packing, shipping the daily orders, inspecting and re-packing the return items, unloading the containers and moving products to the shelve addresses according to warehouse software system processes (ORACLE NET SUITE software), cleaning and organizing the warehouse area, connection between the office and warehouse team, inspecting warehouse equipments, making sure all the warehouse supplies inventory is fine for the time period and other general warehouse duties.
In OMAC customer service team the main duties are:
Giving great customer service to e-commerce customers on our Ebay, Amazon, Shopify web shop, Walmart and other channels. The customer service team supervisor and her team is responsible to reply all the emails, phone calls, chats, visiting customers, handle and help with returns processes etc..
Qualifications:
- Oversee shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment processes
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts
- Coordinate freight handling and transportation planning
- Implement lean principles to optimize warehouse efficiency
- Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) for inventory tracking
- Supervise warehouse staff and provide leadership in daily operations
- Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a distribution center environment
- Strong knowledge of transportation management and supply chain processes
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related software
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively

- At least 2 years of inventory software (WMS) experience, (Oracle NetSuite is a big plus)
-Must be physically able to stand and perform for 8 hours daily. Good physical fitness and stamina, its an operational and active position.
-Leadership and management, quick problem solving, self discipline, self responsibility skills and increasing efficiency reducing costs mentality is a key for success in this role.
-Knowledge of governement requirements related to warehouse management and safety i.e OSHA regulations.
