- Operating CNC machines, changing of inserts, addressing faults within the operation, making offset adjustments from gage information & completing required documents for efficiency, scrap and downtime tracking
- Need to have strong math skills including decimal systems to assist with understanding offset requirements based on gage information
- Inspect product to insure quality through visual inspection & gaging which includes paying attention to detail
- Make minor repairs to machines as needed
- Possess mechanical & technical skill that will attribute to working with CNC machines which are controlled by computers
- Operate & understand measuring instruments, such as various gages and utilizing dial indicator for various dimensions
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to develop themselves, their team and the plant performance
- Actively participates with their set- up tech and team to resolve problems encountered that limit production or the quality of products
- Read and understand tolerances
- Clean and maintain work area to 5S standards
- Lots of walking involved
Prefer minimum 2 years consecutive manufacturing experience
High School diploma/GED required
