Our goal is to advocate for each child's unique needs and utilize the results of our evaluations to provide customized assessment plans.
We are located in central Indiana, but with this being a position serving online students in Wyoming, applicant must hold a current occupational therapy license for the state of Wyoming.
Position
This position will be responsible for providing direct occupational therapy to children in grades PK-12 in a virtual setting for the 2024-2025 school year. Evaluations will be done by another occupational therapist in the company.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide occupational therapy interventions to improve students' functional abilities and independence
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech therapists and case managers, to coordinate student plans
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Educate students and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for maximizing independence
Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid OT License for Wyoming
- Previous experience providing therapy to children in a virtual setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, techniques, and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
