Job Summary:
The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for the office. They provide basic and accurate information to callers following strict protocols concerning private and confidential matters. Execution of duties requires the ability to navigate and use of an electronic case management system, computer proficiency, and the adeptness to learn other software as related to the functions of the office.

- Answers, screens and assists callers. Provide information about how to file a complaint or status of inquiry files. Directs caller to other sources of information as needed. Forward calls to the appropriate Administrative Assistant or Assistant Bar Counsel. Sends follow-up emails regarding phone calls.
- Process new complaints in the case management system by entering and/or creating names, cases, and uploading scanned documents.
- Mails correspondence with copy of complaint by both regular and certified mail.
- Receives visitors and deliveries according to security procedures and protocols.
- Mails complaint forms and additional documentation to callers for filing complaints.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Must be able to answer phones in a professional manner and route calls as necessary.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe.
- Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Managing priorities to meet deadlines with minimal oversight and supervision and demonstrate good organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly, tactfully, and effectively with supervisors, attorneys, and public members, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma and at least four (4) years of professional clerical/administrative experience is preferred. Applicants may substitute an Associates Degree from an accredited college for two years of the required experience or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.

Pay: $43,000 - $45,000 per year
Benefits: Eligible for subsidized health benefits (medical, prescription, dental and vision coverage) and life insurance; leave, including annual (vacation), personal, sick, and paid parental leave; and will be eligible for participation in a pension plan in which they are fully vested after 6 years.
