- Provide exceptional customer service at all time; continually seek opportunities to improve services/systems offered by CVMD and provides feedback to leadership team.
- Book and coordinate events within the facility.
- Utilize the event software to record all events and update it when any changes occur with the event. Follow up on events for client feedback to improve CVMD’s customer service.
- Create invoices, take payments, and track payments.
- Courteous and professional reception of all customers and phone calls in a timely and positive manner.
- Responsible for general appearance and maintenance of the conference room(s) and admin office area.
- Leverages technology on a daily basis to complete job duties, including but not limited to computers, copiers, tablets, etc.
- Works closely with the Operations Department to prepare for client events.
- Routinely trains with the Operations Department to stay up to date on CVMD equipment (ex. Projectors, microphones, sound equipment, etc.)
- Maintains a clean and healthy work environment. Actively seeks opportunities to conserve energy, district resources, and offers options/suggestions to district management regarding eco-friendly options.
- Works in concert with CVMD personnel, as applicable, to assist in activities for CVMD programs and events- including but not limited to Memorial Day, Veterans Day, etc.
Any other duties as may be required or requested by CVMD management.
Essential Qualifications:
- Experience/Training/Education:
- Education: Preferred completion of thirty (30) semester units from an accredited college or University in business administration, public administration or a closely related field is preferred.- Preferred 2 years’ experience in professions related to customer service. * Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Adaptive, Agile, Creative Problem Solver with keen collaborative/teamwork skills- Knowledge of office and administrative practices and principles.- Self-motivation to continually advance their education, skills, etc.- Excellent in both verbal and written communication.- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite. Knowledge of QuickBooks, EMS, or other software is a plus.
