ISA Certified Utility Arborist

GGI is seeking an ISA Certified Utility Arborist with Electrical and/or Gas Energy Infrastructures and Environmental experience to join our fight against climate change and its destructive and catastrophic impacts. The ISA Certified Utility Arborist will work with the company's technical program leadership team and provide technical review, analysis and field inspection support for our electrical utility wildfire mitigation program.
Key Job Requirements:
- Perform review and inspection of electrical utility infrastructures and vegetation risks in relation to outage, ignition and wildfire risk mitigation
- Perform analyses of the risk audit findings to identify patterns, trends and potential areas of improvement in wildfire safety compliance
- Analyze regulatory requirements per general order (GO) 95 Rule 35 and wildfire mitigation plans
- Expertise in QA/QC of inspection data and reports
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to write technical reports, standards, bulletins, manuals, policies and procedures
- This position requires travel within the State of California
Required Qualification and Experience:
- Three years verifiable experience as an ISA Certified Utility Arborist
- GIS Data and Electronic Inspection forms and reporting
- Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed)
- Workplace safety training (will be provided)

Candidates must be authorized to work in the US for any employer without visa sponsorship. Occasional domestic and international travel may be required in remote and rugged places. Due to the nature of the company's business and clientele, the successful candidate must be safety and security conscious, detail oriented, reliable, must have a good driver's record with DMV and must pass the company's pre-employment background checks and drug tests.
