Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager of Residential HVAC to lead and oversee our entire residential HVAC division, including Service, Maintenance, Sales, and HVAC Install. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional operational oversight skills, a deep understanding of HVAC systems, and a strong sales acumen. This role requires a strategic leader who can drive business growth, ensure high-quality service delivery, and maintain a customer-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight:
- Oversee daily operations of the service, maintenance, and install departments, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory and ensure the availability of necessary tools and equipment.
- Coach to standard operating procedures to improve service delivery.
- Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Financial Management:
- Manage departmental budgets and control costs to ensure financial targets are met.
- Monitor financial performance, prepare, and analyze reports on departmental performance.
- Work with General Manager and Director of Operations to implement strategies to achieve financial targets and improve profitability.
Sales Leadership:
- Oversee the sales team, setting clear sales targets and performance expectations.
- Foster a sales culture within the division, promoting collaboration and excellence.
- Monitor sales performance and provide coaching and support to achieve sales goals.
Customer Service and Relationship Management:
- Handle escalated customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance service quality.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of managers, technicians, and installers.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing training and support.
- Set performance goals and conduct performance evaluations.
Strategic Planning and Business Development:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align divisional goals with overall company objectives.
- Promote and uphold the company's reputation and brand within the community.
Environment:
- In office 80% of the time; with 20% or more expected in field time monitoring jobs and collaborating with staff.
- Managing a team of at least 1 other manager and leaders.
- Being in office early in the morning to ensure operations are starting off on the right foot every single day.
- Attending meetings of team weekly.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing operations, sales, and financial performance in a residential HVAC setting or a similar trade or business.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $128,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
