We are seeking a professional and friendly Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our medical office team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk operations and ensuring a smooth patient experience.
Hours of Operation:
- Monday: Closed
- Tuesday - Thursday: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Lunch break: 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM daily
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients in a courteous and efficient manner
- Schedule and manage patient appointments
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Collect co-payments
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Handle patient paperwork and update electronic medical records
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Perform basic clerical duties such as filing, faxing, and photocopying
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a healthcare setting is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
