A globally recognized company is seeking well experienced security operative to support security operations within a highly sensitive facility. The security operative would ultimately take on the role of a GSOC operative and actively monitor and support daily security areas for Access Control, Closed-Circuit Cameras monitoring, Fire & Life Safety, Health & Safety, and overall safety and security of associates and property.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Manage and operate end-to-end process for granting physical access to facilities and in-person screening of visitors, third party shippers, and couriers.
· Screen and monitor visitors & employee entrance and exits at access card points.
- Manage the visitor registration system and ensure that all visitors are checked in
- Monitor and operates electronic security systems and equipment,
- Generate regular security logs, equipment inspection logs and incident reports, as needed.
· Conducts physical checks of employees and visitors identify threats, risks, and vulnerabilities.
· Prevents problems/solves problems in the moment; identifies solutions, makes recommendations to proactively safeguard people, property, assets and the Company.
- Monitor alarm event notifications during off hours and respond to facility, if needed.
- Proactively monitor physical access and video surveillance cameras and alarms within the respective systems and be able to execute appropriate response standards in accordance with approved operating procedures.
- Conduct and train associates in Fire & Life Safety procedures, security, emergency evacuation plan, lock out tag out, etc…
- Support internal investigations by producing supporting video evidence and generate a supporting comprehensive incident report, as needed.
- Ability to monitor Global incident alert tools, media, and additional platforms for events that impact or have the potential to daily operations or associates.
Required Skill/Qualifications:
- Previous law enforcement experience a must.
- Must have a NYS Armed Guard license.
- Must be analytical and possess report writing skills proficiency in MO (Word, excel, outlook)
- Proven ability to research and consolidate information from different sources.
- Extensive and continuous background check, references verification, and drug screening
- Able to commit to 20-28 hours/week, flexible scheduled, as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
