Data Entry Specialist

JOB SUMMARY
This full-time at-will position is primarily responsible for the data entry of Pathways for Aging Level of Care. The Data Entry Specialist provides essential clerical support and is responsible for organizing data, preforming data entry tasks and ensuring the accuracy of information entered. This position may end in one year.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following:
- Organize and accurately interpret information from assessments into the eligibility determinations.
- Meet data entry timeframes.
- Claim pay points applicable to the work completed.
- Prints and mails state required notices as needed.
- Attends department and agency meetings.
- Picks up, sorts and distributes AAA mail.
- Organize information for reports as needed.
- Other duties may be assigned and/or requested in the fulfillment of the agency’s mission.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is primarily responsible for the accurate and timely data entry of eligibility determinations for Pathways for Aging participants.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
· Experience with data entry preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
· Ability to work with the following programs: Microsoft Office 365, Windows XP, Windows 7, Microsoft Word (including mail merge), Excel and Outlook, Teams, CaMSS, any other programs required to complete the job responsibilities.
· Operating knowledge of scanner, printer, copier and fax machines.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Ability to accomplish assigned tasks and effectively manage time to ensure completion of tasks.
DIFFICULTY OF WORK
The work consists of a variety of tasks, which are simple to complex in nature. Skills are needed in the area of time management, computer usage and typing.

Will work with a variety of staff.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is usually seated, standing or walking at will in a typical office setting. Very limited physical effort required. Some travel is required.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
· Successful candidate must submit to a pre-employment drug screening, National Sex Offender Registry check, a driver history check and a limited criminal history check.
· Proof of educational credentials is required at time of employment.
· Automobile and adequate auto insurance are required.
· Liability coverage must meet the Agency’s required coverage level at the time employment begins and maintain it throughout the duration of employment ($100,000/$300,000/$100,000).
· Password protected home/personal internet access of a good quality so that you may perform the duties required. Including but not limited to basic web browsing and data entry, make internet based phone and video calls, watch webinars, and participate in online meetings.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
