Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Recruiting Coach to join our team. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in guiding young athletes through the intricate recruiting process, ultimately helping them secure scholarships and achieve their athletic dreams. As a Recruiting Coach, your primary responsibilities will include identifying and recruiting talented athletes, providing comprehensive support throughout their recruiting journey, and effectively promoting their abilities to collegiate coaches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment of Athletes: Identify, evaluate, and recruit talented athletes to join our program. Utilize various scouting techniques and resources to find promising prospects who align with our standards and values.
- Support and Guidance: Serve as the main point of contact for assigned athletes and their families. Offer continuous support, addressing any questions or concerns they may have throughout the recruiting process. Provide personalized advice and strategies to enhance their prospects of securing scholarships.
- Film Evaluation and Distribution: Review and assess athletes' highlight reels and game footage. Identify their strengths and areas for improvement, providing constructive feedback. Distribute athletes' films to collegiate coaches, ensuring their skills and potential are showcased effectively.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with athletes, their families, and collegiate coaches. Facilitate regular communication to keep all parties informed and engaged throughout the recruiting process.
- Stay Informed on Recruiting Trends: Stay updated on the latest trends, rules, and regulations in the athletic recruiting landscape. Ensure that our athletes are well-prepared and informed about the requirements and opportunities available to them.
- Organizational Skills: Manage multiple athletes and their recruiting timelines simultaneously. Maintain accurate and organized records of all interactions, evaluations, and communications related to each athlete.
- Promote Athlete Development: Encourage and motivate athletes to continuously improve their skills and academic performance. Provide resources and support to help them reach their full potential both on and off the field.
- Event Participation: Attend relevant events, such as showcases, tournaments, and combines, to scout new talent and represent our program. Network with industry professionals to expand our reach and influence.
Qualifications:
- A strong understanding of the athletic recruiting process, including knowledge of NCAA regulations and collegiate sports dynamics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with athletes and their families.
- Proven experience in evaluating athletic talent and potential across various sports.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple athletes and their recruiting processes efficiently.
- A passion for sports and a commitment to helping young athletes achieve their goals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Prior experience in a coaching, scouting, or similar role within the sports industry is highly desirable.
-Must be able to pass Background check to work with minors
Experience:
-Coaching Experience at the High School/AAU or College Level.
-Playing Experience at the College or Professional Level.
-At least 2 years of coaching or playing experience
