Job Description:
Our institution is seeking dedicated and passionate part-time Physical Education (PE) Teachers to join our team. As a PE Teacher, you will play a vital role in promoting physical fitness, health awareness, and sportsmanship among students. We are looking for both male and female candidates to cater to the diverse needs of our student body.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement age-appropriate physical education curricula that align with educational standards and objectives.
Plan and conduct engaging and dynamic PE classes for students, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Instruct students on various sports, games, exercises, and fitness activities, catering to different skill levels and abilities.
Demonstrate proper techniques and skills in different sports and physical activities, providing guidance and feedback to students for improvement.
Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy competition among students.
Incorporate principles of health education into PE lessons, emphasizing the importance of physical fitness, nutrition, and overall well-being.
Assess student performance and progress through observation, participation, and evaluation of skills and abilities.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support the overall educational and developmental needs of students.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, participation, and achievement in physical education activities.
Stay updated on current trends, research, and best practices in physical education and integrate new ideas and methodologies into teaching practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
Previous experience working with children or adolescents in an educational or recreational setting, preferably as a PE Teacher, coach, or instructor.
Knowledge of various sports, games, and fitness activities, along with proficiency in teaching fundamental skills and techniques.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate students.
Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for promoting physical fitness and healthy lifestyles.
Ability to adapt teaching methods and strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
Certification in CPR, First Aid, or other relevant emergency response training (preferred).
Willingness to undergo a background check and comply with all school policies and regulations.
