We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Partnership Specialist to join our team in the credit card processing industry. The primary responsibility of this role is to sell merchant processing services to small to mid-size merchants while strategically partnering with accountants and other associations to boost merchant processing accounts. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional sales skills, a strong understanding of merchant processing services, and the ability to cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships.
Job Duties:
- Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and target small to mid-size merchants in various industries to sell merchant processing services.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Conduct presentations and demonstrations to potential clients to showcase the benefits of our merchant processing services.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with merchants to secure new business opportunities.
- Partnership Development:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with accountants, business associations, and other strategic partners to generate merchant processing leads.
- Collaborate with partners to develop joint marketing campaigns and initiatives to promote merchant processing services.
- Provide training and support to partners on our products, services, and sales processes.
- Evaluate partnership performance and identify areas for improvement to enhance lead generation and conversion rates.
- Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments related to merchant processing services.
- Analyze market data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancement or new service offerings.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to expand market reach and increase merchant processing applications.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants and partners to foster long-term loyalty and retention.
- Address any customer inquiries, concerns, or issues in a timely and professional manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Act as a liaison between merchants, partners, and internal teams to facilitate communication and resolve any operational or technical issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the financial services industry or merchant processing.
- Strong understanding of merchant processing services, payment systems, and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners at all levels.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and ability to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
