Nextant is looking for a driven Communications Specialist 2 to join our client team.
Job Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
-
Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies tailored to the internal Global Supply Chain organization, the broader Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) organization, and external suppliers and partners.

Ensure alignment of all communication efforts with the overall business strategy and objectives of the data center and supply chain operations.
Internal Communications:
-
Create and execute internal communication plans to keep the Global Supply Chain team informed about operations, updates, and changes.

Develop and distribute regular newsletters, bulletins, and internal reports.
-
Maintain and update the supply chain team's intranet pages with relevant information, news, and resources.

Organize and facilitate team meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.

Prepare and present communication materials for internal briefings.
Broader CO+I Organization Communications:
-
Develop strategies to communicate key supply chain updates and initiatives to the broader CO+I organization.

Create content for CO+I internal newsletters, presentations, and reports to ensure alignment and transparency across teams.
External Communications with Suppliers and Partners:

Manage communications with external stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and partners.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key external contacts to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

Create and execute crisis communication plans in response to supply chain disruptions or emergencies.
Project Management:

Lead and manage communication projects related to supply chain initiatives, ensuring timely and effective delivery.

Implement and manage collaboration tools and platforms to enhance communication and information sharing among the global team.

Collect feedback from team members and stakeholders to continuously improve communication effectiveness.
Analytical Roles:

Monitor and analyze communication metrics to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns.

Prepare regular reports on communication activities and outcomes for senior management.
Soft Skills:

Foster a positive and collaborative communication culture within the team.

Address and resolve communication-related issues and challenges efficiently.
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a communications role, preferably within a supply chain or technology environment.

3-5 years of experience Ability to shift Priority quickly

3-5 years of Strategic outlook and experience
-
3-5 years of Ability to communicate with people of all different levels internally and externally with stakeholders and team members
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficiency in using communication and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Slack, etc.).

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
-
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Analytical mindset with the ability to monitor and report on communication metrics.
-
Experience in crisis communication and public relations is a plus.

Remote Position
Pay Rate:
The annual salary range for this position is 50,500.00 - $55,500.00 in Washington State. Please note that the salary range is a general guideline. Nextant considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills, and other market and business considerations when extending an offer.
