Salary: $115-$150k DOE

Consulting engineering firm specializing in Building MEP, Industrial MEP, Commissioning, and Water/Wastewater services. Since 2006, we have been a high-touch, creative engineering partner for clients with complex building projects in a variety of market sectors. We have offices in San Antonio, Bryan/College Station, Houston, and Austin.
We have built a team of superstars who share our passion for serving people and the attainment of engineering excellence in our field. We are looking to expand our team with a skilled Mechanical Engineer who is experienced in MEP building design for commercial, education, and industrial facilities. This will be a client facing role. Must have a good understanding of designing building HVAC and plumbing systems and be able to properly execute projects with minimal supervision.
Position Overview
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the design of HVAC and plumbing systems. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all engineering documents are accurate, compliant, and fit the customer's needs. He/she will also be expected to consult with other engineers and stakeholders throughout the design process.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee and perform the design of HVAC and plumbing systems.

Oversee and mentor junior engineers.

Facilitate design meetings and provide guidance to other disciplines.

Perform load analysis and equipment selection.

Ensure engineering documents are accurate and compliant.
Qualifications

5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree.

Professional Engineer license in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Trane Trace, and other design software.

Knowledge of construction, equipment selection, and load analysis.

Knowledge of healthcare and energy modeling.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
