WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE – American Air & Heat, LLC Sanford, FL
Full Time, Hourly, Monday - Friday Day Shift position. Must have a GREAT "Customer Service" focus to take care of our Team for the HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical Divisions, and solid computer skills tool. Must have a Clear and Valid Driver's License and clean background.
You will assist with the warehouse inventory and maintain the database in this role.
NOTE: HVAC, PLUMBING, & Electrical Materials / Inventory experience is preferred!
We are looking for a hard-working warehouse associate to help us in our warehouse. The warehouse associate is responsible for receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping a concise record of inventory, and accurately filling customer orders.
A successful warehouse associate is hard-working, organized and detail-oriented. You should be able to keep good records and keep track of incoming and outgoing stock to ensure inventory levels remain steady.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Receiving and storing: Receiving and processing incoming materials and products, sorting them, and stocking shelves
- Packing and shipping: Preparing orders for shipping, packing boxes, and labeling packages
- Maintaining inventory: Keeping track of product inventory and restocking as needed
- Inspecting products: Checking that products are of the correct quantity, type, and quality
- Maintaining warehouse order: Keeping the warehouse clean and organized
- Following safety procedures: Following all safety protocols and warehouse procedures
- Manage and provide strong leadership to warehouse personnel to ensure smooth operations and great internal customer service; “tech-friendly” atmosphere.
- Manage day-to-day operations, and document SOPs with continuous improvement to process and maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Manage weekly truck and warehouse replenishments to ensure timely delivery of materials and minimize out of stocks.
- Manage Truck templates and maintain inventory integrity in Service Titan (ERP) software.

- Must be proficient with Spreadsheets, and inventory management systems,

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Work is performed in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift and transport >50lbs
- Travel to other client/customer locations on an as-needed basis.
- Travel to vendors when required
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years experience as a Warehouse Associate in Plumbing & HVAC trades (preferred)
- Forklift Certification preferred
