Position Title: Field Engineer - Fireproofing Division
Position Reports To: Area Manager
Position Summary:
The Field Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise to the site manager/project management at the jobsite during the planning and implementation of the project scope. This role ensures that work is being performed according to the spec and customer requirements at a high level of quality and safety. This individual may be asked to perform various roles as needed to ensure that the job site is running smoothly and that the work is being completed at a high level of quality and safety.
Essential Functions
- Assist various field managers regarding quality, safety, job schedules, performance, and potential work scope issues that may arise
- Work with site management to identify scope of work changes as they occur and communicate this information to as directed.
- Assist with job close out procedures, closeout packages and reports for the customer.
- Communicate among your team members, the customer, and subcontractors as needed.
- Ensure proper maintenance of onsite equipment
- Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management (preferred)
- Minimum 0-2 years of experience of related industry experience

Work Conditions/Physical Demands
- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
- No adverse environmental conditions expected.
- 10% - 50% Travel

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
