We are seeking a receptionist for a psychotherapy clinic in Mapleton, UT. The position involves answering the phone, scheduling appointments, taking payments, coordinating with patients, and various other tasks as assigned by the Office Manager and Clinical Director. The position will start between 28 to 32 hours per week. Starting pay will be $14.00 to $18.00 hourly depending on experience. The hours are 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM Monday through Thursday, and then 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM every other Friday.
Here are the responsibilities of the receptionist:
- Greet patients and other visitors.
- Oversee reception area.
- Communicate with therapists, office manager, patients, and others in a professional manner.
- Schedule appointments and take payments through a computer-based system.
- Coordinate the collection of paperwork and payments from patients.
- Communicate with insurance companies to verify coverage and resolve disputes.
- Other various projects as assigned by the Office Manager and Clinical Director.
- Must comply with HIPAA regulations of protected health information.
- Attend bi-monthly staff meetings.
- Consistently encourage a positive office environment.
