Overview:
The Training Coordinator is viewed as a generalist in the field and as highly competent within the broad training discipline, both internally and externally to Bergelectric. The training coordinator works with the customer to plan and coordinate staff training and ensure the training programs meet the customer’s needs. They are also responsible for assigning training to personnel at management's request and tracking it to completion. This position reports to the corporate Training and Development Department Director.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver programs to train all levels of professionals.

Provide Learning Management System (LMS), assistance to the regional management teams.

Prepares, reviews, and verifies safety documentation, certifications, permits, and logs.

Deliver safety reports and documentation requiring authorization to the management team.

Develop training tools, formats, templates, and process examples.

Verifies compliance with Bergelectric policies, OSHA, and other appropriate regulatory agency standards.

Advises Training & Development of areas within their region where good practices are in place and identifies areas for improvement.

Manages relationships with safety personnel to help address any training issues.

Work with regional human resources, training personnel, procurement, and other functions which require coordination in areas of mutual need.

Promotes an overall safety culture and contributes to internal safety communication among peers.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience preferably in the safety or construction industry. A combination of education and experience showcasing the abilities to perform the position’s duties and responsibilities adequately is acceptable.

Knowledge of Learning Management Systems, Human Resource Information System, Safety Management, Occupational Safety and Health, or a related field is preferred, however not required.

Highly developed interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact with employees effectively, persuasively, and tactfully at all levels of the organization.

Ability to effectively manage competing priorities.

This is largely a sedentary role; however, this role may require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand to complete other administrative functions.

- This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and other general office supplies and equipment.
Salary Range: USD $45,000.00 - USD $55,000.00 /Yr. PTO Amount: 80 Benefits:
