Job Summary: As the Property Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and success of our multifamily property. Your primary focus will be on maintaining high occupancy rates, providing exceptional resident experiences, and maximizing the property's financial performance. You will lead a dedicated team, ensuring efficient operations and fostering a sense of community among our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage day-to-day operations, including leasing, maintenance, budgeting, and resident relations.
- Maintain high occupancy rates through strategic marketing and leasing efforts.
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the property, ensuring a safe and appealing environment for residents.
- Develop and implement leasing strategies to attract and retain residents.
- Handle resident inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
- Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, prepare budgets, and implement cost-control measures.
- Collaborate with the corporate team and participate in regular meetings and reporting.
- Maintain knowledge of local market trends and competitor activities to make informed decisions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Property Manager in the multifamily housing industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with residents, staff, and stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of property management software and systems.
- Demonstrated ability to handle financial and budgetary responsibilities effectively.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations.
