We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vacation Rental Business Development Representative to lead our sales efforts across Mammoth Lakes and Steamboat Springs. This role is pivotal in driving business growth by bringing in new vacation rental owners, developing and nurturing relationships with local real estate agents, and collaborating with the marketing team on lead acquisition strategies. The Business Development Representative will also work in partnership with the onboarding associate, ensuring seamless integration of new properties into our portfolio. The role requires quarterly travel to each location, amounting to roughly 10% travel for on-site.

Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand our portfolio of managed homes.
- Evaluate existing partnerships and seek opportunities for enhancement and growth.
- Develop, coordinate, and implement strategic plans to increase existing business and drive overall growth.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities.
- Create strategies to expand market research and capitalize on industry trends
Relationship Building
- Establish and maintain relationships with local real estate agents, Realtors, and other lead-generating entities.
- Network with potential homeowner clients to grow our portfolio of managed homes.
- Serve as the official representative of Nomadness Rentals with Lodging Associations and Boards of Realtors in Steamboat and Mammoth.
Market and Industry Knowledge
- Stay informed about business trends and new marketing strategies to ensure competitiveness and innovation.
- Continuously educate oneself in the fields of real estate, investing, short-term rentals, and other industry-related topics to be a trusted resource for clients, realtors, and partners.
Marketing Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with the marketing team on efforts such as print ads, digital content, email blasts, and social media posts targeting Realtors and homeowners.
- Develop strategies to expand market research and identify profitable business opportunities.
Client Management
- Continued touch points on new accounts during the onboarding process to ensure client needs are met before, during, and after their property goes live.
- Conduct quarterly, bi-annual, and annual homeowner progress check-ins.
- Provide rental projections and general property feedback to clients, prospective owners, and Realtors.
- Focus on owner retention and the reduction of churn
Operational Excellence
- Develop and implement processes and initiatives that enhance business expansion, profitability, and industry competitiveness.
- Ensure continuous improvement in the delivery of services and client satisfaction.
- Role requires a rotating operational shift
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in the vacation rental or real estate industry.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills with a track record of successful business development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time for on-site roles and 20% for remote roles.
- In-depth knowledge of market trends, real estate, and short-term rentals.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Must be willing to travel on a quarterly basis
Sales Compensation Package:
- Base Salary: $44,000 per year
- On Target Commission: $48,000 per year
- Total On Target Compensation: $92,000 per year
