Job Overview:
NYC Real Estate management company is seeking a Building Superintendent to join our team in Brooklyn Heights, NY.
Luxury 92-unit pre-war co-op building in Brooklyn Heights looking for Building Superintendent with strong construction experience, communication and organizational skills.
Shift & Schedule:
Monday to Friday. Weekends as needed for emergencies.
Job Requirements:
- Proficiently skilled in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry and construction.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and complex operational matters on a daily basis.
- Live-out position includes after hours responsibility for emergencies.
- Implement quality control measures to insure building construction meets industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with other staff members, vendors, Shareholders and management.
- Day-today supervision of maintenance and repairs operation of the building.
- Overseeing of apartment alterations.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
- Reliably commute before starting work.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Candidate must have at least five (5) years of experience as a superintendent for a building consisting of 100 units.
- Knowledge of word and Outlook.
- Must possess all certifications required for building systems.
- Must be agreeable, responsive and excel at problem solving.
- Strong organizational skills required.
- Must have a detailed-oriented mindset.

Compensation:
$32 per hour plus Housing Stipend.
