Duties and responsibilities:
The Marketing and Communications Specialist creates, manages and implements public relations and marketing campaigns with the goal of enhancing Florida Prep’s name and reputation in the public’s eye. This employee maintains personal relationships with media representatives, members of the Florida Prep staff, students and their parents. He or she manages all social media and content, along with Google AdWords, Google Analytics and Facebook. This candidate will also maintain our school website and make changes when necessary.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Creates Academy literature and other forms of communication working with off-site, full-service agencies.
- Copyedits, proofreads and revises all communications.
- Designs and launches marketing campaigns and Google Ad words.
- Drives marketing campaigns based on monthly data sourced from Google Analytics Review and revises Google Ad words content on a monthly basis.
- Works with the Admissions Director to develop marketing campaigns in support of admissions objectives, travel and events.
- Works with the President, Business and Admissions to determine event budgets and manage expenses in that budget.
- Develops strategic relationships with media to guarantee coverage year-long in specific markets.
- Determines new public relations opportunities based on student population/admissions travel schedule.
- Photographs events.
- Edits photographs using Photoshop.
- Develops relationships with students, staff and parents as a feeder for public relations initiatives.
- Develops relationships with local organizations, such as the Chamber of Commerce and local charities.
- Updates website with daily/weekly news and information for parents.
- Updates the website as the primary admissions tool.
- Develops one-year strategic plans and budgets for public relations and marketing initiatives.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
