Position Summary:
The incumbent in this position supports the activities and responsibilities of Purchasing at 1st Haven.
Title: Senior Buyer
Reports to: Purchasing Director
Department: Wellborn-1st Haven
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Daily Management of all purchased materials.
- Responsible for Training/Directing Material Buyer.
- Working closely with vendors for product allocation to support the business.
- Responsible for submitting/insuring purchase orders are submitted.
- Receiving in SAP – insuring receivers align with purchase orders.
- Work closely with Plant Manager to support any increases in sales.
- Build and Maintain good working relationships with Vendors
- Coordinate with Transportation for delivery of materials.
- Manage/process all requisitions in to purchase orders after approvals.
- Work closely with receiving/warehouse personnel to insure accuracy and quality
