Helping Hearts California, LLC is offering a $500 sign-on bonus for all new full time employees to be paid on the pay period following 90 working shifts of employment.
We are currently hiring for several BHT Positions, from BHT 1 to BHT Leads. Pay is dependent upon experience, and position. Locations vary from Ontario-Victorville.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, with an alternative work week schedule.
Day Shifts
-Monday through Wednesday and every other Thursday from, 7:00a.m to 7:00p.m
-Friday through Sunday and every other Thursday from, 7:00a.m to 7:00p.m
Night Shifts
-Monday through Wednesday and every other Thursday from, 7:00p.m to 7:00a.m
-Friday through Sunday and every other Thursday from 7:00p.m to 7:00a.m.
Behavioral Health Technician 1 or 2 (Direct Care Staff) in a residential setting for adult clients with Mental Health diagnoses. Houses are home to 10 clients where Behavioral Health Technicians are responsible for the health, safety, and well-being of the clients. Provide direct care service and support to the clients in meeting their basic personal needs.
The BHT Lead is a supervisory position within Helping Hearts California, LLC responsible to provide assistance to Program Director and Agency Administrator with daily or nightly operations for Social Rehabilitation Treatment Facilities. Requires Traveling.
The Overnight Shift Lead is a supervisory position within Helping Hearts California, LLC responsible to provide assistance to Program Director and Agency Administrator with nightly operations for Social Rehabilitation Treatment Facilities. Requires Traveling.
Duties:
- The duties range in position from BHT 1, BHT 2, BHT Lead.
- Communication through the chain of command to the licensee concerning the operation of the facility.
- Assists Program Director with oversight of daily clinical needs of all clients in the facility.
- Assist Admin Team with daily operations in the facility such as clinical and administrative tasks in accordance with Title 9, Title 22, and Helping Hearts Policies and Procedures.
- Assist Program Director with coaching and correctives of subordinate staff.
- Responsible for the health, safety, and well-being of the clients.
- Ensure that the staff provide support to the clients in the planning, preparing, and serving of meals and cleaning of the facility.
- If clients are unable to carry out, ensure clients are served meals and the facility is maintained and kept clean and to licensure standards.
- Provide assistance and verification in the self-administration of medication.
- Responsible for recognition of early signs of illness and the need for professional assistance.
- Ensure direct care staff supports the clients in meeting their basic personal needs (assist when needed) including:
- Meal preparation and understanding basic nutrition, food preparation, storage, and menu planning.
- Includes supervision of clients while preparing meals.
- Housekeeping and sanitation principles; Includes assisting clients when needed to complete chores.
- Universal precautions and proper cleaning and treatment of bodily fluids.
