PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for administering the day-to-day activities of the front desk office, including: registration & maintenance of patient records, verifying insurance coverage, scheduling appointments and procedures, accounts receivable, maintaining appearance and order of the reception and waiting room spaces.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
- High school diploma
- 2 years professional office experience desired
- Experience verifying insurance eligibility and coordination of benefits with insurance carriers preferred
- Good interpersonal skills to maintain positive rapport with patients, medical providers, other staff members and community
- Effective verbal skills to communicate with patients and staff
SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Manage day-to-day functions of front office
- Assists with insurance verification for medical services
- Conduct registration/confirmation of daily appointments
- Calculates sliding fee schedules for patients and provides detailed service plan estimates
- Manage provider scheduling templates
- Monitor the reception area for a neat, cleanly, professional appearance.
- Ensure efficient & effective daily scheduling

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
