We are looking to hire a Training Specialist for a federal government client. **Position is contingent upon contract award**
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Take created content from CDC SMEs and create into setting-specific tools and resources.
- Work with CDC SMEs to identify needs for the infection prevention and control tools or resources tailored to schools, correctional facilities, and shelters.
- Gather input from state, local, national non-government (NGO), and fenderal partners addressing corrections, schools, and homelessness to support creation of infection prevention and control tools and resources tailored for each setting.
a. Work with CDC SMEs to identify partners to provide input.
b. Input shall be integrated into the creation of tools and resources.
c. Create drafts of infection prevention and control tools or resources.
d. Work with CDC SMEs to pilot the draft versions.
e. Integrate partner feedback and pilot results to create final versions.
- Work with CDC SMEs to identify the intended audience, length, and format trainings for the tools and resources designed for schools, correctional facilities, and schools.
- Create a training plan, curriculum, content, and materials that will support the dissemination and implementation of the tools and resources.
- Create a plan, curriculum, content, and materials to be ready to use for training of trainers with state, tribal, local territorial (STLT), and NGO partners.
- Curriculum, content, and materials shall be culturally and contextually relevant, feasible for implementation, and adaptable for STLT and NGOs.
- Work with CDC SMEs to pilot test the training curriculum, content, and materials with STLT and NGO partners.
- Search for gaps in training content and materials that need to be updated.
- Research new training supplies and materials that can enhance the tools and resources.
- Communicate with management, trainers, and team members to ensure that all needs are met.
- Resolve any specific problems and tailoring training programs as necessary.
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Management systems, or related field, required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a training specialist, required.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Location: Atlanta, GA
Travel: Travel may be required, up to 25%
