As the Restaurant General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operations, exceptional service, and overall success of our restaurant.
Responsibilities:
1. Operational Excellence:
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure efficient and effective workflows.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene throughout the establishment.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
2. Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, train, and manage a competent and motivated team of restaurant staff.
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to ensure team members reach their full potential.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee satisfaction.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates.
3. Customer Service Excellence:
- Uphold a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and respond to customer feedback, reviews, and complaints in a proactive and professional manner.
- Implement strategies to enhance the overall dining experience and exceed customer expectations.
4. Financial Management:
- Develop and monitor budgets, ensuring optimal cost control and profitability.
- Analyze financial statements, sales reports, and other performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement effective inventory management practices to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate with the executive team to develop pricing strategies and promotional activities to drive revenue growth.
5. Marketing and Business Development:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Build relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community members to enhance brand awareness and customer loyalty.
- Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion, and contribute to the development of new concepts and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager or in a similar leadership role.
- Proven track record of success in managing high-volume, full-service restaurants.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage, service standards, and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
