We are seeking an experienced Insurance Coordinator/Administrative Assistant with a focus on inventory management for a specialty practice in Madison, GA, preferably residing within the Madison/Eatonton/Lake Oconee area. Responsibilities include:
Insurance Coordination
- Assist in the preparation, submission, and follow-up of insurance claims.
- Communicate with insurance companies and clients to ensure timely processing of claims.
- Maintain up-to-date records of insurance policies and claims.
- Provide administrative support to the insurance team, including scheduling appointments and managing correspondence.
Admin Assistance
- Perform general office duties such as answering phones, managing emails, and handling mail.
- Assist with the preparation and processing of documents and reports.
- Provide support to other departments as needed.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring adequate supplies are available.
- Track and manage inventory using company software and tools.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Coordinate with vendors for the timely ordering and delivery of supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and reports.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in insurance coordination and administrative assistance
- Familiarity with inventory management principles and practices
- Computer-savvy
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Preferred experience: 1 year in a medical office setting
