Job Summary:
As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, driving financial performance, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
∙Build and maintain robust monthly/quarterly/annual finance review and reporting processes to provide timely and accurate financial information to management.
∙Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including but not limited to cashflow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, sales and expenses. ∙Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
∙Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. ∙Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. ∙Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making and drive business growth. ∙Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to support tax filing and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. ∙Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and achievable financial plans. ∙Monitor and manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to optimize financial resources. ∙Stay informed about changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations, and ensure timely updates to financial policies and procedures.
Requirements: ∙Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. ∙Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related field. ∙Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations. ∙Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. ∙Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. ∙Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software. ∙Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. ∙Ability to travel up to 10% of the time ∙Ability to navigate and effectively deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment ∙Highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented self-starter
Preferred Qualifications:
∙Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or MBA is preferred. ∙Experience with tax filing and compliance preferred.
