Qualifications:
- You are reliable, punctual and professional
- You have strong customer service and sales skills, are skilled at starting conversations and making people feel welcome, and are committed to representing The Tea Heaven Tea brand in all interactions
- You have very strong attention to detail
- You have the ability to handle significant physical work
- This includes being on one’s feet all day and dealing with bulky items, such as cartons
- You have consistent access to a vehicle
- Must be able to speak, read and write English
- You have the ability to work weekends
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Driver's License (Required)
- Food Handlers (required)
- Great if interested in TEA
Responsibilities:
- Setting up the booth at the market, including unloading the booth gear and products and assembling it before the market starts
- Engaging with customers to sample, enjoy and purchase teas for the duration of the market (4-5 hours)
- Upon the market’s close, counting the proceeds and paying the booth fee; deconstructing the booth; returning the gear and unsold products to the company warehouse, and putting the gear and products away in their proper place
- Taking ownership of growing the sales / developing the business
- Preparation of tea for sampling at markets at the commercial kitchen
