QuickBooks/Excel Spreadsheet guru needed!
We are seeking an experienced full-charge bookkeeper and accountant to join our team.
This position requires a hands-on approach including data entry and transaction posting. Maintain records of financial transactions creating a complete and accurate general ledger. Transactional duties such as (but not limited to) accounts payable, payroll processing.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- QuickBooks
- Accounts receivable
- Automatic monthly billings
- Daily corporate billing
- General ledger maintenance and entry
- Payroll processing
- Accounts payable
- Credit card reconciliation
- Bank reconciliations
- Financial statement prep with reporting (daily, monthly)
- Customer statements and customer collections
- Prepare appropriate schedules and reports as requested for management
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years bookkeeping experience or equivalent combination of experience and education
- 3+ years QuickBooks experience using QuickBooks in a service environment
- Strong computer skills including QuickBooks & Excel spreadsheets
- Must have strong verbal and written communication, organizational and analytical skills
- Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
