Job Summary: The Retail General Manager is responsible for the overall management and success of the retail store. This role includes overseeing all store operations, ensuring financial performance, leading the store team, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The Retail General Manager will develop strategic plans to improve store performance and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:

- Sales and Financial Performance:
- Achieve store sales targets and financial goals.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to drive business growth.
- Prepare and manage the store's budget, including forecasting and expense control.
- Implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
- Handle customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.
- Develop and implement customer service initiatives to enhance the shopping experience.
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Maintain store security and safety protocols.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Inventory and Merchandising:
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control.
- Coordinate with suppliers and oversee product ordering and replenishment.
- Ensure effective merchandising and product displays.
- Conduct regular stock checks and manage stock discrepancies.
- Payroll and Employee Relations:
- Create a 2 weeks schedule curated to our events
- Overall recruitment and employee advancement
- Oversee and control Instawork
- Oversee all employee relations
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, expenses, and other key metrics.
- Conduct audits and inspections to maintain store standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a retail general manager or in a similar senior management role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail management software.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
