Responsibilities:
•As the Nurse Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of exceptional care.
•Oversee and lead the nursing team, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements
•Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
•Collaborate with inter-disciplinary professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for residents.
•Monitor the delivery of care, ensuring it aligns with established protocols and meets the unique needs of each resident
•Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing staff
•Facilitate professional development opportunities for the team
•Implement and monitor quality assurance initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care
•Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
•Utilize EMR systems for accurate and efficient record-keeping
•Train and support nursing staff in the effective use of EMR tools
Qualifications:
•Registered Nurse (RN) with a current and valid license in NY.
•The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Charge Nurse in a skilled nursing facility, possess strong leadership skills, and be familiar with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
•Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
•Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality assurance protocols in long-term care.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $105,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
