Job Title: NYC Violations Coordinator
Job Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and organized individual to join our team as a NYC Violations Coordinator. The NYC Violations Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of violations received by our organization in New York City. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of violations.
Responsibilities:
1. Monitoring Violations: Keep track of all violations received by the organization from the relevant authorities in New York City.
2. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all violations, including relevant documentation and correspondence.
3. Research and Analysis: Conduct research to understand the nature of Investigates and research building violations set forth on each property, e.g., FDNY, DOB, ECB DOMH, DEP, etc.
4. each violation, including relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
5. Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information and documentation for responding to violations.
6. Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for communication with regulatory agencies and other external parties regarding violations.
7. Resolution: Work with internal stakeholders to develop and implement action plans for addressing violations in a timely manner.
8. Compliance: Ensure that all responses to violations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
9. Reporting: Generate regular reports on the status of violations, including trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Public Administration, or Law preferred but not required.
2. Proven experience in a compliance-related role, preferably in a regulatory environment or within a company dealing with municipal regulations in New York City.
3. Strong understanding of New York City regulations and compliance requirements, particularly related to the industry of the organization.
4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
8. Knowledge of database management systems is preferred.
9. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Certification in compliance or a related field is a plus.
2. Experience working with regulatory agencies in New York City.
3. Familiarity with relevant software applications for tracking and managing violations.
Working Conditions: This role primarily operates in an office setting. Some travel within New York City may be required for meetings or inspections.

Salary: $62,400 - $72,800

Pay: $50,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
