Responsibilities:
- Evaluate loan applications and determine the creditworthiness of applicants
- Collect and analyze financial information, such as income statements and credit reports
- Review loan agreements to ensure they are complete and accurate
- Guide applicants through the loan process, answering questions and providing information
- Collaborate with underwriters to assess risk and make lending decisions
- Maintain knowledge of current lending regulations and compliance standards
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other industry professionals
- Meet sales targets by actively promoting loan products and services

Experience:
- Newly licensed loan officers welcome
- Proven track record of successful loan origination and processing
- Strong knowledge of underwriting principles and practices
- Proficient in using accounting software for financial analysis
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Solid understanding of credit analysis and risk assessment
- Familiarity with escrow procedures and documentation
- Strong mathematical skills for calculating interest rates, payments, and other financial metrics
Preferred Skills:
- 10 key typing proficiency for accurate data entry
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
