Savvee Consulting is seeking to hire a Program Office Coordinator to support the Cloud Program Office (CPO) of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) located in Silver Spring, MD, to aid in the establishment and adoption of an enterprise-wide cloud solution. The selected candidate will play a critical role in managing administrative functions along with specialized tasks designed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of cloud initiatives.
Essential Functions
- Performing program specific communications and stakeholder engagement sessions to include:
- Managing communications with internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinating meetings and dissemination of information to the relevant parties
- Assisting in the creation of content and updating websites and other web-based intranets
- Performing administrative and Front Office support functions to include:
- Conducting Front Office operations, focusing on day-to-day duties as assigned
- Managing correspondences, scheduling meetings, and calendar management
- Replying to emails, chats, and telephone calls in a timely and professional manner
- Organizing documents and maintaining a professional office environment
- Performing project coordination functions to include:
- Coordinating and tracking cloud-related projects within the NOAA Cloud Program Office (NCPO)
- Assisting with project planning, scheduling meetings, and tracking and documenting project milestones
- Preparing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes
- Assisting in the preparation of presentations and reports for stakeholders
- Assisting with the management of resources and assets related to cloud projects, including inventory maintenance, licensing, subscriptions, and vendor coordination
- Supporting users and providing basic training on cloud platforms and tools
- Creating user guides and/or knowledge-based articles
- Aiding users to resolve basic user-issues and/or fielding user questions
- Contributing ideas and suggestions for process improvement as cloud technologies evolve
- Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support
- Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to client
Required Education & Training
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Information Technology, or other related field
Minimum Experience & Skills
- Ten or more years of professional experience
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to pass a background check
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired Education/Certifications & Skills
- Experience in administrative support and/or project coordination
- Strong organization skills and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workplace
- Knowledgeable of cloud technologies and tools
- Able to handle confidential information properly and with discretion
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
