POSITION SUMMARY
The 340B Program Specialistis responsible for contributing to Adelante’s 340B drug pricing program integrity. This includes but is not limited to participating in related projects/initiatives, compliance, auditing, training, vendor selection and medication management related to the 340B program.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
· High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
· Graduation from an approved medical assistant training program with one or more years’ experience required with Certification
· Certified Pharmacy Technician
· 340B experience strongly preferred
· 2 – 3 years of experience in a health care or pharmacy setting
· Excel experience required
· Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to put data into a quality analysis
· Self-motivated, action-oriented, strong initiative with the ability to act independently and meet deadlines
· A self-starter who is able to work independently and follow a detailed plan
· Medication insurance billing and medication claim submission experience
· Certification to perform cardiopulmonary Resuscitation for the Health Care Professional (CPR) and AED through courses that follow the guidelines from the American Heart Association and Red Cross (cognitive and skills evaluations)
· Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety for all specialty behavioral health locations
NONESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
· Experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center

POSITION REPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL
· Monitor Second Site Solutions portal for drug pricing
· Medication therapy management (MTM)
· Assists in 340B auditing
· Prepares and assists in the monitoring, tracking and reporting measurements to ensure compliance with the program.
· Evaluates patient eligibility for qualified and non-qualified patients by reviewing patient medical records and insurance plans.
· Tracks, trends, and reports 340B pharmaceutical sales and purchases data to insure provider/physician and patient eligibility and review ineligibility reports.
· Collaborates with Adelante’s Credentialing team and the external Pharmacy Data Informatics Designees to ensure that the PBMs and contract pharmacies have up to date provider lists
· Assists 340b manager with monitoring patient charts per diagnosis

Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time when traveling to various clinic sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee may be subject to health hazards (contagious diseases, blood borne pathogens, etc.) when working in the clinic area.
