Behavioral Health Manager
Job Overview: As a Behavioral Health Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our behavioral health services. This role includes ensuring high-quality care delivery, compliance with industry standards, and effective management of clinical staff. You will work closely with the Director and other team members to develop and implement strategies that enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of behavioral health clinical services, ensuring efficient and effective workflows.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including CARF/DCF regulations.
- Provide leadership, supervision, and support to clinical staff, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of behavioral health interventions and treatment plans, making improvements as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for improved patient care and clinical outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation and records for compliance purposes.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies and partner organizations, to ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in behavioral health practices and integrate them into the program’s operations.
Experience:
- Master’s degree in a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- MUST HAVE a LCSW or LMHC license.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in behavioral health clinical management.
- Strong knowledge of CARF/DCF regulations and other relevant compliance standards.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide clinical staff.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Proven experience in managing clinical budgets and resources.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation.
