We have a great opportunity for an Instructional Designer to join our growing company!
The Instructional Designer/Editor will be instrumental in the creation of learning activities and creating compelling course content. Will work collaboratively with leadership on the creation of content using a diverse ranges formats and multimedia production platforms.
This position can be located in Raleigh/Durham, NC or San Antonio, TX.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred

1-3 years of experience in Instructional design, Educational Technology or similar relevant field

Strong content editing skills and attention to detail.

In-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models

Experience of video and image editing, plus design skills utilizing Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar applications.
- Design storyboards and scripts for learning modules in a timely and efficient manner.
- Develop professional online learning content using the Articulate Storyline 360 suite and other digital tools.
- Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio and video scripts

Excellent written and oral skills

Great computer and organizational skills.

Self-motivated and the ability to work collaboratively with others.

Based in the Raleigh-Durham or Dallas-Fort Worth area, with the ability to travel by land/air when needed.

Responsibilities:
- Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content.

Work with subject matter experts to identify target audience’s training needs.

Set instructional end goals and create content that matches

Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product.

Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design.

Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.

Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc.).

Devise modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course.

Maintain project documentation and course folders.

Edit existing curriculum and educational materials/products.
